*** GIRLS LEVEL 1 IS NOW DIVIDED INTO 2 DIVISIONS. ***

GIRLS LEVEL 1 JUNIOR for gymnasts grade 8-9.

GIRLS LEVEL 1 SENIOR for gymnasts grade 10-12.

Girls Level 1 gymnasts are no longer required to move up to Level 2 after 2 years in Level 1 unless the

they have acquired Level 2 skills and are ready to move up (determined by the coach) or if they place in the top 3 of either Level 1 Junior or Senior at provincial championships.

The Level 1 Code will remain the same for both Junior and Senior divisions, however by dividing Girls Level 1 into 2 divisions, it will allow more Level 1’s to qualify and place at competitions.

                                                                               MAY 19

GRADE 7’s UPDATE: Unfortunately BC School Sports has ruled against allowing Grade 7’s  to compete in BC High School Sports. Honoring this new decisions, we regrettably will not be allowing Grade 7’s to compete at our Provincial Championships this coming year. We hope that all Grade 7’s will take the extra year to learn new skills, perfect routines and be even more prepared for competition in Grade 8!

WELCOME TO THE 2010/2011 SEASON!

The BC High School Gymnastics Handbook and Code is currently being re-vamped and will be sent out to schools shortly. Pleas ensure your schools Athletic Director declares gymnastics as one of their schools teams with BC School Sports to alleviate any hassle later!

FEBRUARY 8

PROVINCIALS POOL/MOVIE PARTY TICKETS HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO $7.00 PER PERSON.

There was a little mix up with the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, our group rate with them is $85/night, although we do encourage all teams to stay at the host hotel “THE TSAWWASSEN COAST HOTEL”
